Illustration and graphics are a strong influence on the work that I create. However, I love to experiment with multiple mediums. I have worked with ceramics, metal, paper, charcoal, markers, paint, photography, printmaking and oils. My knowledge in each medium further informs my making process, ideas, and experimentation.

In my graphic and illustrative works, I portray a personal narrative that allows me to express emotions that reflect that narrative. As a documentation of history, I believe my narrative is important as a young adult growing up in the United States through a pandemic juggling school, work, and major world events such as the oncoming recession. Expressing this narrative allows me to tell a story that resonates with my viewers while also giving them the opportunity to create their own interpretation. In many works, I allow juxtaposition of multiple physical items to create an undeniable contrast of ideas. An example of this would be portraying colorful graffiti on a very plain grayscale brick wall texture.

The projection of my work is in my graphic skills, this will allow me to progress into the B.A. program with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in marketing. My vision as an artist is to inspire others to find beauty in experimentation and the unknowingness that comes with navigating today's modern world.
